Before we allow our governments to limit freedom of speech (UK and US are moving in that direction), some thoughts:
Security and freedom are not necessarily tradeoffs.
Great victories for humanity have initiated in protests and non-violent civil disobedience.
Social networks, our ability to self-organize, to produce content, to share, to curate, to collaborate will be fundamental in shifting our direction towards a sustainable and fair society.
